The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs seeks to ensure full satisfaction of users from private institutions, manufacturers or individuals by implementing requirements of modern government through e-system and reducing paper works as much as possible in order to speed up work and to provide excellent services.
The Ministry has conducted a survey of user satisfaction with time for obtaining environmental permits via the Ministry's website or via Invest Easy system which is connected with the Ministry in order to meet with e-government principles and expedite works in line with government approach to achieve e-government transformation. The Ministry is the leading institution to achieve e-government transformation aims through integrating with other governmental bodies.
The e-survey targeted the Ministry's client who visited the Ministry's head office. They were given tablet computers and asked to answer the survey questions. In cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs surveyed Invest Easy clients to figure out their satisfaction with obtaining environmental permits.
The results were positive and motivating to those working on e-services to achieve more regarding client satisfaction. In addition, the Ministry's personnel benefited a lot from these results to continue on this approach supported by all governmental bodies related to environmental permitting.
First, we asked them to what extent you are satisfied with the easiness of obtaining environmental permits via Invest Easy? more than 37% of precipitants were fully satisfied, while 45% says it needs some improvements. In another question we asked about saving time, money and effort via using Invest Easy for environmental permitting, more than 47 % have agreed that they saved time, money and effort.
A question of the contribution of e-service to meet work needs and improve performance was answered with the following: more than 50% have agreed, 70 % says e-services are more effective than conventional services while more than 64% recommended other clients to use the Ministry e-services.
